To Love and To Cherish

Taught by: Jane Belshaw

September 23-24, 2017

This far and no farther.
This much and no more.
What needs less and what needs more ?

In caring for our own seasons of coming and going we know when to
hold home base and when to cut loose.
We protect ourselves from being dragged in to someone else’s
dance, rhythm, someone else’s hunger.
We learn to recognise when we are beginning to lose our ideas, our

We can live life fluidly, live what is breathing through us instead of
trying to make the magic last or waiting for something to be over so
we can feel alive again.

This weekend we will practice recognising our aliveness, what we
need and the moments when we talk ourselves out of being who and
what we are about.

We will dance, we will meditate and listen to a story - and we will
begin again probably plenty of times.

One night there’s a heartbeat at the door.
Outside, a woman in the fog, with hair of twigs and dress of weed,
dripping green lake water.
She says “ I am you, and I have travelled a long distance.
Come with me , there is something I must show you……”
She turns to go, her cloak falls open,
Suddenly, golden light ………….. everywhere golden light.
