- About Us
Our body is our home address for spirit-filled living. To be embodied simply means being home to be touched by every delight and rich disaster that life brings our way.
The San People of the Kalahari Desert lived embodied lives, close to the earth and each other. They knew that every body houses healthy hungers for relationship:
As we change over the course of our life, so do our innate hungers. We may feel satisfied with our alone time yet wish for an intimate partnership. We can find ourselves with lots of close connections yet yearn for time alone. Sometimes we feel a deep desire to contribute to a community that values our gifts and talents.
In this weekend we will use movement, sitting meditation, verbal inquiry as well as the riches of this sudden community -- to highlight all our relationships, both on and off the dance floor. Dance will be our medicine and our medium to restore a sense of balance, joy, and value for the unique contribution we each offer.
