What Is Therapy in Motion

What is Therapy in Motion?

Therapy in Motion is a dynamic methodology that synthesizes cutting-edge theory and techniques in psychology (attachment, relational, trauma, sexuality, gestalt awareness practice, transpersonal, multiple self-states) and translates those processes into an embodied movement vocabulary.  It is scientifically proven that our emotional intelligence, stability, and resilience are dependent upon, and reflective of, the degree to which we are present and embodied. Evidence-based embodied therapeutic practices demonstrate that the ability to tolerate strong emotions without dissociating and being at home in one’s “skin,” are key to good mental health. Additionally, a foundation of embodied emotional intelligence is vital for profound, lasting spiritual development.
