About Step into Nature, scientist and author Wallace J Nichols said, “If you take Patrice’s hand she will take you on a walk with mountain lions and aspens, over ice and through fire, among your fears and your empathies, and imaginings.” Patrice offers writing and collage workshops at universities, spiritual centers—including Esalen Institute, as well as in libraries, parks and community centers. She’s taught poetry to children for many years. Patrice writes a monthly column, A Walk About Town, for her local newspaper, The Monterey Herald, about walking.
