Deborah’s teaching is infused with her 30+ years love affair with both the Findhorn Eco-village Scotland and the world of conscious movement practice. She is a senior practitioner in her field having trained with Gabrielle Roth in 1994. In 2014 she shifted her focus to become a Founding Member of Open Floor International; this included introducing Dynamic Governance into the organisation. Her teaching practice includes specialising in working individually with people; in 2016 she attended the Therapy in Motion training with Andrea Juhan and Irit Ziv Ron. Deborah’s knowledge of and respect for the wisdom of the body is incisive and contagious.

My resources & recommendations
To know me better and what informs my teaching and personal approach to life please watch these two videos:
“Restoring health and wisdom through embodied movement’ is a 16 minute TEDx talk I gave in October 2017 in the Findhorn Community where I speak about the intimate interaction between personal health and the state of the world. I present how the experience of embodied movement, presence and conscious emotional intelligence can ignite an increased individual sense of health that supports a shift towards a healthy planet.
Just Me personalised movement retreats is a 4 minute video which introduces you to my tailor-made 5 day one on one retreats in Scotland.
This material really excites me and I hope inspires you!
On a more personal note ~ I’ve been immersed in the world of group consciousness, facilitation and leadership since I was 13 years old; firstly within the Jewish Youth Movement in North London and then when I first arrived at the Findhorn Foundation when I was 20. I now live in a Housing Co-operative; community is my norm and I care immensely about how to live that well, for the benefit of all beings. Being a parent has been my primary spiritual practice ~ the swiftest way I know to have a wide-open heart, 24 hours. Nature is my first love where I am unconditionally restored.
