Dance of All Beings

Through dance, voice and creativity, bring forth wisdom of the living planet

Wild Divine Dance comes together with Joanna Macy’s ‘Work that Reconnects’ to create a ‘Council of All Beings.’  We gather in Council, dancing and speaking as creatures and the elements, allowing wisdom to move through us for our personal, collective and world healing. 

Do you long to be more intimately connected to your wildish self as part of the living planet?  Do you want to activate the wisdom inside you for the benefit of all life?  To be a restorative presence on the earth we need to access the intelligence that has evolved over 4 billion years, and reconnect to ourselves, each other and the earth.

Through conscious dance, sounding, mask-making, spoken word, theatre and time in nature, and following the ‘Work That Reconnects’ spiral, we’ll explore ourselves as part of the animate earth.  Embodying and speaking as an aspect of nature such as lion, butterfly, mountain or sunlight, fog or mycelium at the ‘Council of All Beings’, we’ll call forth the intelligence of the more-than-human, and the deep wisdom held in living systems.

Engaging the body in movement and stillness, depth and playfulness, we invite compassionate and mindful deep listening.  As a community we create a witnessing container for us to open to possibilities that emerge through freeing the body in dance, engaging with the emotional possibilities of the heart, and the mind’s imagination, creativity and power.

You are welcome regardless of previous experience and fitness level, and all ethnicities, genders and socio-economic backgrounds are honoured.
