He unpacks the Zen teaching of Emptiness Dancing from every direction. Great book for teachers and dancers wanting to understand the nature of space in embodied dancing. Recommended by:…
Over the past 4 years, Open Floor International has evolved from a dream nurtured by a handful of passionate innovators to a reality firmly rooted in community. In this time, we have trained over 200 new teachers from 27 countries and introduced Open Floor movement practice to thousands of dancers around the globe. And so….we move on to the next phase of our evolution as an organisation making its mark in the field of embodiment. It is a time for renewal.
An Encounter Fundamentals workshop is also highly recommended and a great opportunity to get a taste of this exhilarating and liberating dynamic group process.
This is our mission at Open Floor: to foster the common good being generated by this simple act of collective embodied self expression.
As well as being an Open Floor teacher, Lynn is also a longtime teaching artist and the Education Director of The Drawing Studio, a non-profit community arts organisation with several outreach programs for underserved populations.
