Creativity is a central thread that runs through everything I do. My curiosity for life and love of people fuels my passion and choices.
Over the years dance has been a source of inspiration and strength, as I evolved as a filmmaker, group facilitator, an open floor teacher and as a human being. I believe we are forever students in this lifetime and there are numerous practices that have enriched my existence and awareness; “Transcendental Meditation”, “Mindfulness”, “Chi Gong”, “Yoga”, “Compassionate Listening” and different healing practices such as “Theta Healing”, “Reiki” and “Energy for Life”.
I was born in Israel but spent 25 years in London since the age of 8. My multicultural heritage infused me with a passion for diversity and giving voice to minority groups, celebrating difference whilst searching for common ground. I began my career in media began as an Art-Director at Ad agency ‘Ogilvy & Mather’ Hong Kong, but since 2000 I’ve been a freelance filmmaker. My feature documentary “Within The Eye of the Storm” won numerous awards worldwide and toured in over 74 cities with a deeply fulfilling outreach program. Much of my work has focused on community film projects, as well as subjects that deal with justice and peace making.
I now live in Israel and run Open Floor classes, taking delight from the immediate reward of seeing what dance does to people!
