Movement has always been my passion since I can remember, and it remained that way after my breast cancer diagnosis in 2005, only the way I move and how I look at movement has changed enormously.
After my treatment in 2005 I was left with a lot of questions… who am I, what do I want, what is my goal here? And honestly… I didn’t know the answer to any question. That was when I took my first steps towards a life of awareness and personal growth.
I started with Tibetan Yoga, Kum Nye (Tibetan Massage), Tsa Lung and Tog Chod led by Tulku Lama Lobsang. A while later I came into contact with Bioenergetics, Active Emotional Bodywork and the 5 Rhythms.
After intensive years of courses I followed a 4-year course Total Acceptance (Active Emotional Body Therapy), followed by a 3-year course Dance and Movement Therapy including Authentic Movement and Laban & Bartenieff.
Many dance internships and ongoing groups with international teachers followed. After 12 years of intensive dancing, I started the Open Floor Movement Teacher Training in 2015 and since 2017 I am a certified teacher at Open Floor International. Since then I continue to follow international weekend workshops and ongoing groups intensively because I will always remain a student of dance for life.
I am fascinated by dance, music and movement in all it’s facets and the possibilities that this form of expression offers to achieve transformation and healing.
