My passion for music and dance has always been an important part of my life. Dancing was my refuge in a very tumultuous childhood, and as a teenager it was the juiciest, progressive-but-perfect, safe container to explore friendships and sexuality. Dancing kept me here, connected, curious and alive. It healed me many times, on all levels, helped me survive deep depths and brought me a life and soul purpose. In the past, folk dance, jazz- and modern ballet, ballroom dance and belly dance taught me many techniques that are still available in my teacher’s body. Later I switched to dance forms more connected to consciousness and spirituality, such as in trainings of shamanic work and dancing with nature, of movement expression in group work (higher professional education), 5Rhythms, Dancing for Birth and finally Open Floor and Open Floor Libido Fundamentals.*** Since 1998 I have been teaching dance and movement as a consciousness practice to various target groups. For the last 14 years I have specialized in Embodied & Conscious Sexuality, including through the path of tantra, Wheel of Consent (Betty Martin) and other studies. In addition to my work as a movement teacher and coach, I am a teacher at a professional education center, teaching Sexuality and Intimacy. I am also a working member with Open Floor International, active in the Embodied Sexuality Circle and Educational Program Circle, as well as involved in the last Open Floor Teacher training as an assistant and mentor.

After so many years of dancing and teaching, I’m still fascinated and touched that the moving body never lies and always leads us back home to our true selves and being. I love to create a non-judgmental, open space where we can show up again and again and feeling welcomed to move with whatever is present, amongst others. To create a safe, creative environment where we can investigate with compassion and curiosity.
If we can move, breath and stay present with whatever occurs in the dance, we learn to do the same in our lives, embracing all the ups and downs. I also believe that if we widen our range of movement vocabulary, creativity and awareness, we widen our freedom to explore, experiment, express, embrace, empower, enjoy and play. As well as our capacity to connect, choose, change, transform and heal.
But for all, I believe that this dance is a gateway to listen to the voice of our soul and attune to the greater source of our existence. Both will reset and re-align our body, heart, mind and soul, creating an integral, empathic connection with others, the world, life itself.

I feel blessed and privileged to offer this work. Grateful for all my teachers who guided and inspired me on this specific path. This includes my sons, Brit and Tove, my loved ones, friends, colleagues and those with whom I work. Sharing their wisdom and support, blended and mixed with my own wisdom and strengths.
